    The kit contains a sample collector, accompanied by an instruction manual for the procedure and stickers to seal the box before sending it to Quantiqun.

    STEP 1

    Step 1 consists of collecting the sample. The kit will be shipped within 2-3 days after the order confirmation. The procedures for collecting the saliva are simple and described in the instructions contained in the kit.

    STEP 2

    The collector after being closed, must be re-inserted in the plastic packaging present in the kit and the kit re-inserted in Quantiqun's box.   The kit can be delivered to a DHL point or an appointment to your withdrawal can be done.

    At any time you can request the total removal of your data from our servers, writing to support@quantiqun.com. Within 72 hours all you data will be removed.

    • What is in the kit?
      The kit contains a sample collector, accompanied by an instruction manual for the simple procedure and stickers to seal the box before sending it to Quantiqun.
    • Do I have any benefits if I keep the data on Quantiqun's server?
      Certainly. Many genes have not yet been linked to disease and with advances in research many of these associations are made. Keeping the data on our servers makes it possible for us to notify you when a mutation that poses risks is identified in your genetic information.
    • If I want to know more about data privacy and the policies that regulate this, where can I get information?"
      We suggest that you read The Statement of the European Society of Human Genetics on DTC GT for health-related purposes” (2010) and the “Framework for responsible sharing of genomic and health-related data” (Global Alliance for Genomics and Health, 2014).
    • In which format will I receive the data?
      The data will be sent to you in the formats: FATQS, BAM, VCP. In addition, you will receive an interpretation of the main points extracted from these data.
    • After I have collected the sample, how do I send it? Should I pay for shipping?"
      Using the same box for forwarding, no fee should be paid. You will be able to choose between delivering the kit to a DHL point or even scheduling its pickup at a location of your choice.
    • Will my genetic information be stored?
      We store the information for research purposes and at any time you may be asked to delete all of this data. If this is the case, just write to support@quantiqun.com and make the request. Within 48 hours of the order the data will be permanently deleted.
    • How long does the genetic sequencing take?
      After the purchase, will send you our at-home DNA testing kit. The sample will be processed between 5-8 weeks and we will notify you when your DNA sequencing results are ready.
